Hey neighbors! ☀️

Hope you had a great weekend, there’s a lot happening around Waukesha County this week, and we’ve got some fun ways to kick it off. If you’re running on empty this Monday, we just dropped a brand new coffee shop guide + interactive map featuring 30 local spots to help fuel your week ☕ We’re also highlighting a new restaurant worth checking out, Savory in Hartland, a cozy scratch kitchen serving up globally inspired dishes and Wisconsin favorites.

There’s plenty to get out and enjoy too, from the reopening of the iconic Kiltie Drive-In in Oconomowoc (custard season is officially back 🍦), to Wisconsin’s largest thrifting event taking over the Waukesha County Expo Center this week. If you’re looking for something more hands-on, there’s a fun cookie decorating class in Pewaukee tonight, or you can plan ahead for a lively Irish night in Delafield featuring live music from Evan & Tom Leahy and performances by the Glencastle Irish Dancers.

Whether you’re grabbing coffee, trying a new restaurant, hunting for deals, or just looking for something fun to do, there’s a little something for everyone this week 👍

The Kiltie Drive-In Opens Under New Management In Oconomowoc

🍦 The Kiltie Is Back (And It’s a Full Circle Story)

One of Oconomowoc’s most iconic summer spots is officially back, and this year, there’s an even better story behind it.

The Kiltie Drive-In is reopening for the season under new management… but not just any new owners. Paul and Nikki’s story actually started right here at The Kiltie years ago, where they met while working. Fast forward, four kids later, they’ve come full circle and are now stepping in to lead the next chapter of this local favorite.

Now the flags are up, the custard is flowing, and the lot is filling up again, bringing that classic Kiltie energy back to Oconomowoc for the season.
